There are many different ways to go about creating traffic and link popularity to your blogs. How will you get noticed out of millions of blogs? I have found that making comments on similar blogs and joining forums that reflect your interests, or the niche of your blog will help to get started.
Just changing the focus of the content of your blog, creating the appropriate categories, links, and tags will also create more targeted traffic organically from the search engines. This approach does require, organization, frequent posting, and some time to get indexed for keywords and phrases.
Another method is to use the power of the social aspects of the blogosphere itself, by jumping in and starting your own conversations using things like, "shout outs", "speed linking", and "blogtipping". All similar approaches to posting about other blogs and bloggers without really expecting anything in return.
You will, however, be noticed. If you are writing several posts a week, why not make one post a week (or even once a month) a way to promote your blog by recognizing other bloggers.
